- DIRECTOR:
Bob Clark
- ACTORS:
Olivia Hussey, Keir Dullea, Margot Kidder, John Saxon, Marian Waldman, Andrea Martin, James Edmond
- PLOT:
A sorority is terrorized by a serial killer who also specializes in obscene phone calls.
- EVALUATION:
A pretty underwhelming effort most known for its influence on other, better horror films.
- WRITING:
Pretty clumsy, especially when it comes to secondary characters defined by one characteristic (drinking, stupidity, etc).
- FILMING:
Clark's direction helps this one out quite a bit, especially near the end when the camera tours through the house.
- BEST PART:
Margot Kidder gets stabbed to death
- TRIVIA:
This may be the first feature-length film to feature "The calls are coming from inside the house!"
- STINGER:
John Saxon and the other cop can't stop laughing
