  • DIRECTOR: John Liu (originally) and Kurtis M. Spieler (re-director)
  • ACTORS: John Liu and voices by Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Linnea Quigley, Vince Murdocco, Leon Isaac Kennedy, Cynthia Rothrock, Matt Mitler, and Michael Berryman
  • PLOT: After a pregnant woman is killed by a street gang (the first of the film's many victimized women), the grieving husband becomes a ninja vigilante who ends up being pitted against the diabolical Plutonium Killer.
  • EVALUATION: The film's backstory, namely that the original footage was found, redubbed, and edited into a semi-coherent movie 37 years after it was originally recorded, is much more interesting than everything that actually happens onscreen.
  • WRITING: Seemingly based on guesswork and lip-reading?
  • FILMING: As advertised, it was actually filmed in New York.
  • BEST PART: Either the promise that "The ninja will return in L.A. Ninja" or the post-film ninja rap.
  • TRIVIA: Apparently the only surviving script refers to a Detective Dolemite, which suggests that Rudy Ray Moore could have been envisioned as having a supporting role.
  • STINGER: Plutonium Killer casually asking "Is that a bomb?" right before his helicopter explodes.
