  • Location: home
  • DIRECTOR: László Benedek
  • ACTORS: Scott Brady, Richard Rober, K.T. Stevens, Yul Brynner, Arthur Blake, Lynne Carter, John Kellogg
  • PLOT: A drug-smuggling tough guy (Brynner) is under investigation by FBI and Customs agents (Rober and Brady).
  • EVALUATION: A perfectly adequate semidocumentary noir that is never quite as interesting as its many bits of casting trivia.
  • WRITING: Pretty much a paint-by-numbers exercise with relatively little in the way of novelty or flair
  • FILMING: There is some decent location filming, but nothing special beyond that.
  • BEST PART: Yul Brynner with hair
  • TRIVIA: Brady is Lawrence Tierney's brother, Stevens is Sam Wood's daughter, and Arthur Blake performed as a female impersonator famous for dressing up like Eleanor Roosevelt.
  • STINGER: Blake doing some awful impression
