- Made for TV movie...directed by Jonathan Frakes...for the TNT network. If for some inexplicable reason you want to know more about The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice after reading those descriptors, I'll be brief. It's the third in a series of low-budget Indiana Jones knockoffs starring Noah Wyle, Jane Curtin, and Bob Newhart. This one is about vampires in New Orleans and the ressurrection of Dracula, and also co-stars Stana Katic and Bruce Davison. Honestly, the film is not completely terrible by direct-to-TV movie standards, but it strikes me as the sort of thing that could only be enjoyed by someone half-asleep on the couch at 2 AM. It falls in that awkward region between so-campy-it's-funny and legitimately enjoyable, which is unfortunately exactly the area that a film like this should avoid.
