- EVALUATION:
A wonderfully bizarre and fun horror film that harnesses the menace inherent in folk music. (Surely, I'm not the only person to feel this way?)
- WRITING:
Lots of interesting pagan lore was inserted, my favorite of which is the hand of glory.
- FILMING:
The island is absolutely gorgeous, but Christopher Lee's wig may be the most mysterious part of the entire affair.
- BEST PART:
Naked, cavorting Britt Ekland
- TRIVIA:
The rowboat with an eye on it was not constructed for the movie. Somebody just owned it.
