  • DIRECTOR: Jake Schreier
  • ACTORS: Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Pierce, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus
  • PLOT: A ragtag group of super-misfits teams up to stop the conniving CIA Director (Louis-Dreyfus) from unleashing a deadly horror upon the world.
  • EVALUATION: A surprisingly entertaining and thoughtful superhero movie that is easily the best thing to come out of Marvel studios in six years.
  • WRITING: Witty but not obnoxious about it and occasionally a little more sincere than what you would reasonably expect.
  • FILMING: Some really great fight and action scenes and creative visuals for "The Void."
  • BEST PART: Running directly into the press conference to become the New Avengers was certainly the most pleasant surprise in the film.
  • TRIVIA: Apparently Florence Pugh handled the building jump stunt on her own.
  • STINGER: Pretty much any Red Guardian line, but probably the one about the soccer player pooping.
